MPD Pumps completed a comprehensive pump station refurbishment for the ICC, part of the NEC Group, replacing obsolete pumps, pipework, guide rails, chains and control panels. The upgraded system improved reliability, performance and long-term maintainability, delivering a modern solution.

MPD Pumps redesigned a surface water pump station valve chamber to accommodate a new access road development. By creating a more compact solution using non-return valves and a redesigned discharge arrangement, MPD reduced project complexity, saving time and costs.

MPD Pumps replaced ageing isolating valves supplying potable water and firefighting pump sets. Working within challenging timescales and asbestos restrictions, our team installed new Tomoe butterfly valves with custom-built stainless steel spacers to improve reliability and system performance.

MPD Pumps installed and commissioned the UK’s first horizontal dry-well Concertor pump station at Vauxhall. The bespoke foul water solution incorporated Flygt Concertor pumps and custom stainless steel tanks, providing improved sump management and reliable operation tailored to the customer’s requirements.
